Design: We excised CNS tissue and extracted total RNA using the RNEasy Mini Kit (Qiagen Sciences, Maryland USA) following the manufacturers protocol. We analyzed RNA concentration using a NanoDrop Spectrophotometer and RNA quality using an Agilent Bioanalyzer prior to library preparation. 300bp insert libraries were created using the NEBNext Ultra II RNA Library Prep kit for non-stranded libraries following manufacturers protocols. Novogene performed paired end sequencing (2x150) on the NovaSeq 6000 platform at a depth of 42-50 million raw reads per sample.
